Life's Work
Olivia Ahltorp is a Swedish artist, composer, music producer, and storyteller whose work lives at the intersection of music, nature, creativity, and human experience.
Across her work, Olivia returns to a set of enduring questions: How can music and storytelling help us remember what it means to be human? What are our gifts, our responsibilities, and our place within the living world? These questions shape not only what she creates, but how she approaches creativity itself.
As a composer and producer, Olivia has created music and sound for cultural, environmental, and creative organizations across Europe, including national parks, research institutes, radio, theatre, museums, universities, and film festivals. Whether composing for an environmental story, creating her own music, or performing live, she approaches sound as a way of communicating beyond information, creating emotional connection and helping people feel their relationship to a story, place, or idea.
Olivia is also the creator of Aevy Lore, her musical world of sound and storytelling, and the founder of Hearthlore, a creative community built around artistic expression, belonging, and the ancient human impulse to gather and share stories. Through gatherings and mentorship, she supports artists in exploring creative identity, moving through creative blocks, and finding ways to make and share their work with greater authenticity.
Nature runs throughout Olivia’s creative life, not simply as inspiration or backdrop, but as relationship. Her work asks what becomes possible when we understand ourselves as participants in a living world rather than observers standing outside it.
For Olivia, creativity is ultimately an act of remembering. Through music, storytelling, and the spaces she creates for others, she invites us back toward imagination, expression, relationship, and the creative capacities that have always been part of being human.
