SOMOS

Be • Become • Belong

Each week, SOMOS brings people from around the world together to explore an ecology of practices for becoming more open to the world around them, more present in their relationships shops, and more available for life as it continues to unfold.

Through these gatherings, people often find themselves able to relate with greater depth and meaning, communicate this from a place of ease, and recover their capacity for deep attention. These capacities are essential to develop in rapidly changing, increasingly fragmented times.

Since July 2023, SOMOS Group Gatherings have been held in a small-group research format, meeting consistently for over three years. Now, for the first time, we're inviting the broader public to experience what this is. You are welcome to join as a Visitor, or become a Member and participate in these gatherings as often as you'd like.

Contributor in Residency

Each year, SOMOS selects a Contributor in Residency — someone whose work naturally intersects the domains of life we navigate together.

Eric Archer

Eric Archer

Inaugural SOMOS Contributor-in-Residence · 20262027

Eric returns to SOMOS throughout 2026 and 2027 as our inaugural Contributor in Residency — a season-long relationship unfolding across each turning point of the solar year, from equinox to solstice.

Eric Archer Condevaux Dahlberg is an interdisciplinary artist, musician, poet, and teacher whose work explores creativity as a practice of presence, relationship, and belonging. Moving fluidly between music, woodcarving, painting, spoken word, and meditation, Eric draws deeply from the natural world and the places where artistic traditions meet. At the heart of his work is a belief in creative expression as something we can practice together: a way of becoming more attentive, more alive, and more available to one another.

Membership & Visitor Access

Begin with One Gathering, or Keep Coming Back

You are welcome to experience a single SOMOS Group Gathering as a Visitor.
It is a complete experience in itself, but much of what makes SOMOS meaningful emerges through consistency: returning, recognizing people, being recognized, and becoming part of what develops over time.

The Annual SOMOS Gathering

Once a Year, We Come Together in Person

Each year, SOMOS brings our global community together in person for several days. Part gathering, part festival, part continuation of everything that has been growing between us online. A chance to inhabit the relationships, practices, music, conversations, and community we’ve been building together in the same physical place.

Shared meals. Music. Movement. Time outdoors. Fires at night. Long conversations. Making things together. Rest. Play. And enough unhurried time to discover what happens when the people we’ve come to know through SOMOS finally share the same place.

For those moving through the SOMOS Facilitator Training Program, the Gathering will also offer in-person intensives and a capstone experience, bringing elements of the curriculum into shared practice.

We’re currently exploring the possibility of holding our first Annual SOMOS Gathering in July 2027 at a large center on Vashon Island, Washington, with expansive indoor and outdoor spaces. Members will receive first access and member pricing as plans take shape.
